Riverside Redevelopment Plans On Display In Shrewsbury Darwin Shopping Centre

I was pleased to welcome Philip Duffy, Chief Executive of the Environment Agency to Shrewsbury today (8 November 2023).  Shropshire Council officers and elected members joined me in the Darwin Shopping Centre to talk through the proposals for the redevelopment of the Riverside and Smithfield Road areas of the town which has recently been awarded government money from the Levelling Up Fund. 

Public consultation on the extensive regeneration project runs until 15 November and in addition to the plans on display in the Darwin Centre, details can be viewed on line at Smithfield Riverside
