Update on Shropshire Future Fit

This week I have called an emergency meeting with the Chief Executive of our Hospital Trust and the local Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to discuss my concerns and those of my constituents over the massive gridlock and delay that Future Fit has suffered

Shrewsbury Flaxmill funding

I am delighted that the Shrewsbury Flaxmill has secured £7.9 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund, this will enable work to continue on this iconic building.   Previous funding from the European Regional Development Fund and Historic England has brought about the opening of an interactive visit

Shropshire school funding

Fairer pupil funding is something I have been fighting for for a long time. It is completely unacceptable that pupils in London can receive over £8,000 per head while pupils in, mainly rural areas such as Shropshire, receive nearly half that.
