Levelling Up Funding - Continuing to Lobby for Shropshire Council

Ahead of the next round of Levelling Up Fund distribution, which is due before the end of this year, I asked the Prime Minister to review how funding is apportioned across the country to consider how rural shire counties continue to lose out. In addition, I highlighted that thus far, Shropshire has not received any funds from the Levelling Up Fund.

Philip Dunne MP for Ludlow, who was sitting close by, and many other rural shire MPs very much appreciated the sentiments I was conveying to the Prime Minister.

Afterwards, I met with the new Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Dehenna Davison MP .to discuss the importance of the Riverside/Town Centre Development.
