Hospital Transformation Programme - Discussions with Prime Minister

Today (29 June 2023) I had the opportunity to discuss the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust's Hospital Transformation Programme with our Prime Minister.  I emphasised the importance of progressing the £312M scheme as quickly as possible to enable the delivery of the best care for patients across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid-Wales.

Previously this month, the Prime Minister had given his assurance that some of the government funding already secured for the scheme, would be released to enable Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust to develop the Outline Business Case,  Click on the attachment to view his letter to me.
