Shropshire Museums and Disability Visual Arts are to benefit from funding from the government, with £130 million being provided to level up access to arts and cultural organisations across the country.
Shropshire Museums will receive £188,999, with £216,208 going to Disability Shropshire Arts visual arts initiatives.
I am focused on making sure that more people in more places can enjoy arts and culture on their doorstep and I will continue working with the Conservative Government to provide local organisations with the funding and support they need.
The £405,207 being delivered will pay dividends across Shrewsbury and Atcham, boosting our local economy, creating jobs in the area, and bringing our communities closer together. The government is widening access to arts and culture so that everyone can enjoy the fantastic arts and culture on offer in our community and the benefits that investment brings.
