Levelling Up - Disappointment for Shropshire

Philip Dunne, MP for Ludlow, and I met with Mr Gove on 02 February 2022 to highlight our concerns that Shropshire Council’s bid for Levelling Up funds has not been successful again. Mr Gove has agreed to meet the Leader of Shropshire Council to discuss why Shropshire has missed out.   In addition I will be writing a letter to Mr Gove asking for a forensic analysis of where the Shropshire Council bid failed and for what reason.
