Daniel launches new website
Constituents will now be able to get in contact with their MP at the touch of a button, after local MP Daniel Kawczynski launched his new-look website.
After launching his initial website in the summer of 2005, when he became the Member of Parliament for Shrewsbury & Atcham, Daniel decided it was time to create a new look and a new approach to his website.
The new site, which is set out in traditional Conservative party colours of Green and Blue, is designed to provide constituents with information that is useful to ‘them’.
Daniel said: “I decided to re-launch the website because a lot has changed in the past four years. When I first became the MP here in Shrewsbury & Atcham I needed to let people know who I was and that I was here, as well as how to contact me and what I had been doing for them.
“Since then my staff and I have gained a detailed understanding of the needs of my constituents and the new website is designed to address this.”
As well as a detailed section giving advice to constituents on issues such as housing, health and tax credits, the new site also has a section where constituents can view Daniel’s expenses.
A regularly updated news page will provide the latest coverage on events and issues that Daniel has been involved with both locally and nationally.
“We have added a section on Visiting Westminster, as a lot of groups have been coming to London to look around the Parliamentary buildings and to find out more about our British Government.
“There is now also an online contact form, so that Constituents can get in contact with me even more easily than before, at the touch of a button,” added Daniel.
