Daniel challenges Managing Director of Arriva Train Wales over station car parking

After being contacted by a number of Constituents over the issue, Daniel Kawczynski recently contacted Tim Bell, Managing Director of Arriva Trains Wales, about the lack of short term car parking at Shrewsbury Railway Station.

Currently, the combination of people visiting the station to buy tickets, to pick up passengers, or who are carrying luggage to the platform for passengers cause long queues in the car park.

Daniel commented, "how can we possibly expect people to use the new direct rail link from London to Shrewsbury - or any other rail services - if there is inadequate parking?"

He has asked the Managing Director to investigate the possibility of more short term parking bays.
